The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association requires all new employees to present proof they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 when they start work. Currently, "fully vaccinated" is defined as someone that has received both doses of the Pfizer/Moderna COVID-19 vaccines or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine 14 days or more before they begin work. As Executive Director for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation (ASHFoundation), you will join a dynamic, mission-oriented team in support of innovation to change the lives of people with communication disorders and the people who serve them. Description The Executive Director is the chief administrative officer of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation (ASHFoundation). The ASHFoundation is governed by a Board of Trustees, and the Executive Director is directly responsible to this Board. The Executive Director is responsible for management of the ASHFoundation's national headquarters operations and shall carry out the following major responsibilities: Responsibilities Leadership and Strategy Central strategist for ASHFoundation activities with the goal of guiding the organization to performance excellence, innovation and growth. Reporting to and working in collaboration with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation Board of Trustees, the Executive Director provides leadership in communicating the ASHFoundation's vision, mission, and strategy.
