Job Description: Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support shipments and deliveries for entire campus as required. Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments. Reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper; receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit; maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies as needed. Position may require extensive outside work. Comply with all DOT and IATA regulations. Comply with Department of Homeland Security requirements. Have experience with computer systems to include Microsoft Office products, i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel Will be required to learn, understand and perform the duties of the mail center Other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements: Minimum Requirements for Shipping & Receiving Support Staff Minimum three years' relevant experience High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to lift up to 50lb containers safely and efficiently. Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift. Candidates should have ability to provide strong customer service while maintaining confidentiality. Candidates must have experience working on multiple computer programs (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
