The University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science seeks a dynamic fundraising leader to fill a key role as Executive Director of Development (EDoD). This is a rare opportunity for an advancement professional with a strong track record of raising six- and seven-figure gifts and managing successful teams. The EDoD will plan and execute completing the school's goal of $250M as part of UVA's $5B Honor the Future campaign. The EDoD will lead UVA Engineering's Office of Advancement and serve as chief development officer for the school. With a 30,000-strong alumni base, representing more than 11% of UVA's overall alumni, the school has developed a strong donor base with much untapped potential. A skilled advancement professional will have a unique opportunity to raise gifts for key school priorities, build a successful team, and make an impact.
