The South Carolina Honors College at the University of South Carolina is hiring! We invite applications for an Assistant Director of Development. The South Carolina Honors College (SCHC) is seeking applications from positive and energetic people who have a strong desire to work in fundraising, and have the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with faculty, alumni, donors, students, volunteers, businesses and the general public. Under general supervision, reporting to the Director of Development (DOD) for the South Carolina Honors College (College), the Assistant Director of Development supports the management and operations of Development through lead annual gift fundraising for the College. Responsible for building and directing the lead annual gift alumni solicitation program of donor/prospect portfolios for the College. This position will be part of the University Development and College team and will operate within the system and procedures of UofSC Development to ensure consistent and well-coordinated activities. USC Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience in an area such as alumni development, fundraising, prospect research or business development. Ability to travel, work evenings and weekends, as required. Must have a valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of fundraising or development experience in higher education and/or hybrid development model.
