English as a Second Language (ESL) & High School Equivalent (HSE) Faculty Colorado Mountain College Breckenridge & Dillon, CO Please go to: www.coloradomtn.edu/employment for more information. Full time faculty positions begin in August 2022 with a 30 credit hour (170 day contract per Board Policy 4.12) teaching load annually. The successful candidate focuses on all levels of English as a Second Language (ESL) courses, retention and persistence of ESL students, compliance with Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA) and Adult Education and Literacy Act (AELA) grants and grant requirements, and development of career pathway courses based on local workforce needs, which feed into Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs such as hospitality, tourism, health, and information technology. This position may include teaching at night, weekend, online, and multiple campus locations. Teaching responsibilities expected of all faculty include: teaching course load as assigned, evaluate courses and assess student learning, meet established course, program and learning outcomes, comply with guidelines and policies, maintain office hours per established standards, develop rapport with students, assist with and participate in advising, orientation and registration activities. CMC Faculty are expected to engage in service activities such as campus and college committees, participation in relevant projects, mentor peers, participate in and assist with assessment activities, program review, student organization, recruiting and retention. Salary range: $67,656.77 - $82,405.89 depending upon education and experience.
