Job Description Join us to c ollaborate on a multi-discipline research project focused on the conversion of CO2 into fuels and chemicals via electrolysis and gas fermentation. Serve as a technical lead in the optimization and development of metabolic and fermentation engineering strategies in anaerobic microbial production hosts. Genetically rewiring and cultivating cells at bench scale to 5L fermenters. Anaerobic microbial cultivation and physiology. Setup and operation of fermentation bioreactors. Molecular cloning and associated techniques including PCR, plasmid design, DNA isolation and editing, and genetic transformation. Working safely with harmful gases and mutagens. Gas Chromatography analysis for identification and quantification of metabolites. Basic Qualifications Must be a recent PhD graduate within the last three years. Candidates must have a PhD degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or a closely related field conferred by the position start date. Additional Required Qualifications Proven ability to maintain a well-organized lab notebook and communicate scientific results effectiv
