Executive Legal Assistant to Chief Judge State of Connecticut Judicial Branch Hartford – Appellate Court The State of Connecticut Appellate Court is seeking an Executive Legal Assistant for the Chief Judge of the Appellate Court. The selected candidate will perform a variety of special assignments and administrative functions such as: typing, photocopying and distributing draft Appellate Court opinions; preparing and distributing the court's conference agenda; screening mail, telephone calls and visitors; typing a variety of memoranda, correspondence and reports; scheduling appointments and meetings; maintaining calendars; requisitioning supplies; maintaining filing and record keeping systems; entering information into a computer database; preparing a variety of statistical reports; coordinating the annual Appellate Court law clerk interview schedule; ensuring office coverage, distribution of general office duties and timely completion of assignments; performing other related duties as required. Salary Range: $65,760 - $89,504/year – plus State of Connecticut benefits . New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy.
