Safety Management Group is seeking an HSE Advisor with either Lab or Chemical experience in Indianapolis, Indiana. This Client requires a covid vaccine. From Lab Safety Procedures: Supports lab safety procedures and serves as a technical resource for interpretation of any provisions needed Support the management of CHP - Chemical Hygiene Plan Facilitates the self-inspection process for the labs to ensure the following: maintains the annual inspection schedule, tracking and trending the inspection data, and ensures that actions from the finding are assigned and closes Evaluates material changes communicated by the lab personnel to ensure the following: Chemical inventories are maintained, prior approvals are complete, requests are completed, and impacts on local waste streams Engages the Chemical Hygiene Contact when exposure assessments are needed From General Safety Procedures: Support the general safety procedures and serves as a technical resource for interpretations of any content (present or not) when requested Completes applicable HSE training as defined by this procedure Facilitates the self-inspection process for the client's work areas and ensures that findings are entered into the tracking system Evaluates changes communicated from personnel for HSE impacts on the personnel and work area Maintains the training matrix Develop and maintain an ergonomic improvement plan Requirements Bachelor's degree in contractor HSE Advisor or contractor HSE Advisor related field from four-year college or university or higher with a minimum of 10 years related work experience. Ability to interpret and apply in practice, construction, and environmental information from all codes, standards, regulations, Federal and State laws, and applicable regulatory documents.
