Centre College invites applications for the position of Director of the Kessler Scholars Program. This is a newly created position for the college. The Director of the Kessler Scholars Program will lead all aspects of the Kessler Scholars Program on Centre's campus and will report to the Associate Dean and Director of the Grissom Scholars Program. The Director will attend all Kessler Collaborative meetings. This position will work with other members of Centre's staff to collect required data and information for the Kessler Collaborative, including Centre's representative from marketing, institutional research, and corporate and foundation relations/grants, as required by the Collaborative. On campus, the Director will assist with promotion of the Kessler Scholars program to prospective students during the Admission cycle, working to yield these prospective students as well. Once Kessler Scholars have matriculated, the Director will coordinate student success programming for the Kessler Scholars, provide mentorship to Kessler Scholars (20 in each cohort year), and assist them as they work through challenges to ensure they graduate in 4 years. The Director will also manage student-facing aspects of the funds available to Kessler Scholars as described in the grant received from Bloomberg Philanthropies and the Fred and Judy Wilpon Family Foundation in coordination with Centre's Director for Corporate and Foundation Relations and the Finance Office.
