Head Start Pathway Specialist The Head Start Pathway Specialist creates, provides, and coordinates services and activities with families and communities that foster strength, healthy living and overall well-being. Qualifications: 1.a. Pathway Specialist I: Bachelor's in family studies, child development, social work or a related field is required, plus one year of Early Childhood Studies (ECS) case management experience. b. Pathway Specialist II: Associate's degree in family studies, child development, social work or a related field is required, plus one year of ECS case management experience. c. Pathway Specialist III: High school diploma or GED is required. Must obtain a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field within eighteen (18) months of hire. Pay Range $14.07 - $16.38 hourly. Each year we work with more than 20,000 people who are seeking economic security and a chance to achieve self-sufficiency. The Council is a member of the Community Action Partnership, a national network of more than 1,000 community action agencies across the United States that work to eliminate poverty on the local level. We are also a member of Community Action Kentucky, the state association representing Kentucky's 23 community action agencies. The Council has an annual operating budget of more than $40 million and employs more than 350 staff.
