Qualifications

-18 years of age or older
-high school diploma or equivalent (Required)

-No experience needed
-valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, clean DMV record, proof of insurance coverage
-Have or be willing to obtain CPR certification
-Bilingual
-Applicants should be extremely organized, responsible, and sincerely desire to work with adults
with disabilities
-Provide services such as job readiness, academic support, outreach, community education and
development, and advocacy
-The ability to work with a diverse cultural population is necessary
-Will be subjected to a background check and e-verify

Responsibilities

-Communicate regularly with clients/families and meet in person with them weekly based upon their
availability/agreed-upon times and locations
-Assist clients in the exploration of community resources such as businesses, agencies, and
recreational resources
-Assist clients in developing vital skills related to gaining greater independence, including meal
planning and nutrition, cooking, health and safety, shopping, money management, household
management, etc
-Assist clients in maintaining their daily schedule, including keeping up with appointments, taking
medications, and ensuring bills have been paid

-Maintain documentation by writing a report each day of what transpired throughout the time with
the individual and document their behavior
-Submit miles through an app each day

-Have open availability Monday to Sunday

-Possibly work 5-6 hours a day 6-7 days a week
