The Division of Infectious Disease is seeking highly motivated individuals to provide ID and HIV services at UW Health (Academic and Community based locations). This is a tenure track or clinical health sciences (CHS) position and will involve research, teaching and patient care as expected of a tenured or CHS faculty member. Research time will be devoted to the general field of infectious disease and/or HIV. Clinical responsibilities will include seeing patients with infectious diseases in the outpatient clinic and inpatient units at UW Health approved locations. An equitable role in the teaching activities of the Infectious Disease Division will be expected along with attendance at case conferences, fellow curriculum conferences, and precepting fellows in clinic. For more information about our opportunities and to apply click here. Qualifications: MD, DO or MD/PhD; Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and BE/BC in Infectious Disease. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of publications in clinical and/or research in HIV and/or general infectious disease. Completion of an accredited fellowship training program in infectious disease. Eligible or licensed to practice medicine in Wisconsin. Professionalism and strong interpersonal and communication skills are expected. Candidates for associate or full professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines.
