The Department of Surgery at The University of Wisconsin is recruiting an exceptional colorectal surgeon to join our Division of Colorectal Surgery. We are looking for candidates with a track record of clinical excellence and academic contributions as demonstrated through training and/or practice experience. The UW Division of Colorectal Surgery is a dynamic and cohesive team of 8 colorectal surgeons who practice the full spectrum of colon and rectal surgery. Their practice draws patients from all corners of the state of Wisconsin as well as Northern Illinois and Iowa. The Division supports an accredited Colorectal Surgery fellowship since 2016 and consistently matches outstanding candidates. The Division participates in multiple inter-disciplinary programs including the Multi-Disciplinary Rectal and Anal Cancer Clinic, the Women's Pelvic Wellness Program, and the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program. The Division is fortunate to work side by side with outstanding colleagues from Gastroenterology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Radiology and other disciplines. The University of Wisconsin and UW Health is a highly collegial and collaborative environment. The UW Division of Colorectal Surgery is fortunate to have a dedicated enterostomal therapy nurse and 4 outstanding, independent Advanced Practice Providers who work in partnership with the faculty and fellow in the care of our colon and rectal surgery patient population. The team is also supported by outstanding nursing colleagues in the clinic, including dedicated nurse navigation for our Rectal and Anal Cancer program.
