CNC MACHINIST / PROGRAMMER - FULL TIME (Butler, WI) Accurate Pattern, Inc. 12833 West Glendale Avenue / Butler, WI 53007 / www.AccuratePattern.com We are seeking someone with CNC Machinist OR CNC Programmer experience OR both. Enjoy the perks of working for a smaller company! COMPETENCIES Experience in one or more of our skilled trades; patternmaking, tool & die, machinist, metrology, CAD design, welding, maintenance. Shop machine, tool & mathematics knowledge. Programming knowledge is a plus. CAD & CAM software. Shop Production and Processing. Ability to lift 60 lbs. Education Required: High School diploma and Technical class work in above areas Experience Required: One year HOURS OF WORK: Full Time - 40+ hours per week - 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MACHINIST Read & interpret shop drawings, CAD files, and program CAM toolpaths. Machine patterns, tools, fixtures, parts to specifications, using CNC & manual machine tools. Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations. Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers. Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or calipers. Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications. Calculate dimensions of workpieces, products, or equipment. Operate cutting, grinding & metal or plastic forming equipment. Assure all operations are done safely. PROGRAMMER Create toolpaths and cut sheet instructions for patterns, tools, fixtures, parts to specifications to be machined on CNC lathes, milling machines or routers. Communicate effectively to assure efficient, complete, and accurate products. Apply continuous improvement principles by gaining & applying knowledge on cutting tools, strategy, and automation.
