Senior Clinical Epileptologist
SENIOR CLINICAL EPILEPTOLOGIST/CLINICAL NEUROPHYSIOLOGIST The Department of Neurology and the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at Yale University seek to hire a full-time experienced adult epileptologist and electroencephalographer at the rank level of Associate Professor or Professor on the Clinical or Clinician-Educator track. The essential duties of this position include: Evaluating and treating patients in the epilepsy subspecialty clinic. Evaluating and treating patients in the epilepsy monitoring unit, including with intracranial recordings. Interpreting EEGs, inpatient and outpatient, and helping to run the clinical neurophysiology laboratory Teaching residents, fellows, and medical students about all aspects of epilepsy and EEG. Candidates must have completed at least 2 years of fellowship, have an MD or equivalent, be board certified in Neurology with certification in clinical neurophysiology or epilepsy preferred but not required; have at least 10 years clinical experience in epilepsy and EEG; have at least 5 years' experience as a director/head of either an epilepsy monitoring unit or EEG laboratory at a surgical epilepsy center; have at least 5 years' experience with neurostimulation for epilepsy including responsive neurostimulation; and have at least 20 peer-reviewed publications including at least 5 as first or senior author.
