Maintenance Supervisor

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR Hope Village Canby, Oregon Salary 55k – 80k DOE (Exempt: Salary Dependent On Experience) Hope Village has a position open for Maintenance Supervision. Under limited supervision, performs and oversees a wide variety of duties focused with the care of buildings and grounds; offers oversite and quality control for the environmental services of the Hope Village Campus. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Duties may include but are not limited to the following: Work Orders and Inspections – Monitors and performs work orders and hosts facility inspections: reviews property conditions and for lease violations; and recommends remedy; governs work schedules; reviews billings and work orders to increase accuracy and efficiency. Participates and overseas on-call maintenance. May perform all tasks assigned to the maintenance staff. Attends in-service educational programs as requested. New Construction – Under limited direction, represents Hope Village as owner's representative on the construction team. This includes collaborating with consultants, contractors, architects and engineers; negotiating with city, county and state agencies to obtain permits. Budget, Inventory & Procurement – Draft facility budgets; assesses infrastructure and capital equipment for replacement and repair needs; assists with purchasing; develops specifications; initiates requisitions; requisitions janitorial, landscape and maintenance supplies and parts; contacts vendors and oversees bid processes; monitors vendor compliance. Maintains inventory of tools equipment and supplies; assists with tracking disposition; resolves discrepancies with vendors; oversees maintenance records and service schedules for vehicles and equipment. Supervision– Supervises the work of employees, including training, approving overtime, assigning work, and reporting strengths and areas where growth is needed to E.D. with employee evaluations. Treats staff equitably, promotes a safe and harmonious workplace. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
