We want stories with depth about underserved populations, and more importantly, from and with context from these communities. This beat will take readers inside the lives and homes of people living in Wilmington, Dover and nearby areas, especially those neighborhoods that have long been ignored or seen largely in coverage of negative issues. This includes what it means to live in the Census tract labeled the most violent in Delawares largest city or what it feels like to live in an area with the states highest rates of pollution.
