Carpentry Assistant (Entry to Mid-Level)

EVENTLUXE is looking for a dependable Carpentry Assistant to join our team. We build structures and setups for corporate events. This is a physical, fast-paced job that takes place in our workshop in Miami and at different event locations.

Location: Miami, FL 33166
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on your experience)
Job Type: Part-Time | Project Base

Job Duties:

* Build and assemble furniture, structures, bars, and other custom build furnishings and decor.
* Load and unload materials, wood, and tools from trucks.
* Help install and take down event structures, staging, and furniture on-site.
* Use basic tools like drills, saws, sanders, and tape measures.
* Assist lead carpenters with cutting, sanding, and measuring in the shop.
* Handle materials carefully so they do not get scratched or damaged.
* Clean the shop, sweep, and put tools away.

Requirements:

* Driving & Logistics: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required. Experience driving 24ft to 26ft box trucks is highly preferred.
* Schedule Flexibility: Must be willing to work overnight production shifts (depending on venue schedules) and travel out of town / overnight when projects require it.
* Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods, if needed.
* Must be reliable, punctual, and show up to work on time.
* Basic experience using hand tools and power tools is a plus.
* Ability to follow directions and work well with a team.
