Position Title: Data Entry / Order Entry Clerk
Department: Shipping / Production Support
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Additional overtime as required)

Position Summary
The Data Entry / Order Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately processing production orders and shipping transactions within the ERP system. This position serves as a critical link between Production and Shipping by ensuring all orders are entered correctly, Pack IDs and shipping labels are generated, and all documentation is organized and completed accurately. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Process completed production orders into the ERP system accurately and efficiently.
Perform high-volume data entry while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Review production paperwork for completeness before processing.
Generate and print Pack IDs for completed orders.
Print shipping labels for UPS, FedEx, LTL, and other shipping methods.
Organize shipping documents and production paperwork for warehouse processing.
Verify order information including quantities, part numbers, customer information, and shipping requirements.
Identify and report discrepancies or missing information before processing orders.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Customer Service, and Shipping departments to resolve order issues.
Maintain organized filing systems for shipping and production documentation.
Ensure all transactions are completed within established daily production deadlines.
Follow company procedures regarding order processing, inventory accuracy, and shipping documentation.
Assist with other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous data entry, order entry, or administrative experience preferred.
Manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution experience is highly desirable.
Experience using ERP systems (Epicor experience is a plus).
Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Strong computer and keyboarding skills.

Fast-paced environment requiring accuracy and attention to detail while meeting production schedules.
