TORTILLA MANUFACTURING COMPANY LOCATED IN MONTEBELLO IS HIRING INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN

FAMILIAR WITH BAKERY EQUIPMENT- 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE

Minimum of two years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.

Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and calibrating instrumentation used for process measurements, including temperature, pressure flow, level, and weight.

Leads troubleshooting efforts for recurring or critical equipment failures.

Repair and maintenance of electromechanical equipment such as cooling systems, electric motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, and various production machinery.

Capable of dismantling, repairing, and replacing equipment as needed to ensure optimal operational performance.

All work must be performed in strict compliance with Hazmat, OSHA, SQF, and HACCP regulations and standards.

Proficient in electrical and PLC programming Knowledge in AC / DC motors Able to program drives, Allen Bradley, Lenze Welding and minor fabrication

Familiar with berg electric and pneumatic systems

Familiar with conveyor systems and related, metal detectors, pumps silos, 480/240/277/110 voltage. Repair electrical / manual pallets jacks and lift trucks

Work in team environment

Understands, follows and implements all safety related standards and practices including food safety. Complete paperwork

Keep maintenance logs

Ability to work any shift, any hours, weekends and holidays.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, mechanical drawings, manufacturer's literature, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from ownership.

Bilingual Spanish preferred.

This position pays: $30.00 an hour to $45.00 an hour DOE
