Kitchen Prep Worker / Prep Cook – DTLA

We are a commercial kitchen located in Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA), specializing in Chinese food delivery. We are currently looking for a reliable back-of-house team member to join our kitchen.

Main responsibilities include:

- Cutting and preparing meat
- Washing, cutting, and preparing vegetables
- Portioning and preparing ingredients
- Basic kitchen prep and cleaning
- Some cooking tasks may be involved; training will be provided

Previous kitchen or food prep experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Basic English communication is required. You do not need to be fluent, but you should be able to understand simple work instructions and communicate in English during training, since our team does not speak Spanish.

This is a physically active kitchen position. The job requires standing for extended periods, repetitive cutting and prep work, and lifting or moving ingredients and kitchen supplies.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, punctual, and willing to learn.
