Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician – Commercial Building Location: Commerce, CA Pay: $22.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Start Date: July 15, 2026 Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred We are currently seeking a reliable and dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain a commercial building. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in keeping a facility clean, safe, and operating smoothly. Responsibilities: Perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs. Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and other basic building components. Touch up paint and complete minor cosmetic repairs as needed. Perform basic plumbing fixes, such as replacing faucets or unclogging minor drains. Conduct routine inspections of the building and report maintenance concerns. Keep maintenance supplies organized and maintain a clean work area. Coordinate with management when larger repairs are needed. Contact and assist third-party vendors for specialized repairs such as plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, fencing, roofing, or other major maintenance projects. Ensure the property remains clean, safe, and presentable. Qualifications: Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred. Basic knowledge of building maintenance and common hand and power tools. Ability to identify maintenance issues and determine when outside contractors are needed. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and carrying equipment.
