Maintenance Technician – Voco Orange County Airport Hotel

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team at Hotel OC Santa Ana.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep, safety, and functionality of the property.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent service to support a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel property.
+ Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
+ Pool maintenance, check chemical levels and cleaning surroundings.
+ Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests and service calls.
+ Execute preventive maintenance (PM's) programs according to schedule.
+ Maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to high standards.
+ Conduct regular property inspections to identify and resolve maintenance or safety issues.
+ Assist with painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and minor renovations.
+ Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
+ Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders.
+ Support emergency response efforts and provide after-hours maintenance when required.


Qualifications

+ Previous experience in hotel, apartment, or commercial maintenance preferred.
+ Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work.
+ Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
+ Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
+ Excellent communication and customer service skills.
+ Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays.


Physical Requirements

+Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
+Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
+Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces as needed.
