Now Hiring – Local Owner Operators (Independent Contractors)

Redefined Transportation Inc. is seeking experienced Independent Contractors to service the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, with deliveries throughout the Inland Empire, Northern California, and Las Vegas.

Compensation

$75,000 – $200,000+ per year
(Compensation varies based on workload and productivity.)

Position Responsibilities
Transport containers from the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach to customer locations.
Return empty containers from customer locations back to the port.
Perform drop-and-hook operations when applicable.
Submit proof of delivery (POD), terminal interchange receipts (in/out), and manifests daily to ensure timely payment.
Plan routes efficiently and meet scheduled pickup and delivery appointments.
Maintain compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Keep equipment in safe operating condition and maintain required maintenance and Hours of Service (HOS) records.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL experience.
Valid Class A CDL.
Current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with a safe driving history.
Valid TWIC Card.
Valid DOT Medical Certificate.
Ability to pass a DOT drug and alcohol screening.
Must be 25 years of age or older.
Current 90-day and annual DOT vehicle inspections.
Reliable tractor that meets all port and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous port drayage experience.
Familiarity with the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
Experience using eModal and port terminal systems.
