Production/General Labor

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Sort out fish Conduct visual inspections to detect foreign materials or metal contamination Maintain cleanliness by promptly removing any fish spillage Lift totes containing fish to fill freezers Manually fill freezers using a feeder arm Palletize frozen fish blocks efficiently and safely Wrap and accurately label completed pallets Salt fish in accordance with production requirements Package and stack finished fish products for storage or shipment Report any issues (including, but not limited to, equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards) to the supervisor on duty Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations Qualifications & Requirements: Must be able to work as part of a team Able to work well with others and follow instructions Experience in the seafood industry is a plus Must have reliable transportation Forklift and/or pallet jack certification is a plus but not required Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in a very cold, wet environment for extended periods
