QUALIFICATIONS: Rush-Henrietta is seeking an accomplished, visionary leader to lead its Human Resources and School Accountability services who demonstrates strategic leadership, and who is committed to developing excellence, equity and inclusion to support the success of all students and staff in a culturally responsive educational setting. Applicants must have at least five years' successful school and/or district leadership experience, as well as teaching (or related educational) experience, and must possess New York administrative certification (SDL or SDA). Candidates of diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Superintendent oversees all Human Resources functions in the district, including recruitment/hiring/staffing, labor relations, negotiations, workforce diversity, benefits management, staff evaluation, new employee mentoring/induction activities, and staff development/training. In addition, the position directs several accountability-related functions, including data and information management, state reporting, space utilization, district policy development, program evaluation, grants and research, and Title IX compliance. The position reports to the Superintendent of Schools. The position supervises the following Directors and offices: Human Resources Information Systems Professional Learning and Program Evaluation DISTRICT PROFILE: Rush-Henrietta serves more than 5,400 students in nine schools, and is known for its comprehensive academic offerings, award-winning music and arts programs, family and community services, and instructional technology.
