Knowledge of and compliance with the Animal Welfare Act and all procedures and protocols in the Nestl Purina R&D Petcare Manual Perform pet care procedures such as daily rounds and treatments, surgical prep, filling prescriptions, and administering treatments Provide pet care and maintain necessary records animal medical and clinical data Monitor heart rates respirations, and temperatures of patients Maintain safe, sanitary, and orderly work areas such as surgical and veterinary suites Assist veterinarians & other technicians with sample collections Actively participate in training and skill development Practice safety in the work areaRequirements High School Diploma with 1+ years experience working with animals in a clinical setting Other Advanced training or experience in animal science, veterinary technology, or animal handling, grooming, or behavior is preferred Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology is preferred Licensed Veterinary Technologist in the State of Missouri is preferred recblid y1m1pmunpeq7oraxa3x8m32gkfiqtd
