Regional Facilities Manager Location: 2134 Lake Cumberland Rd. Mount Vernon, KY, 40456 United States Employee Type: Full-Time Job Category: Facilities, Management, Maintenance Industry: Facilities Minimum Experience: 3 Years Description *Position is required to travel between all Markets in the South Central Region. Main office located in Mt Vernon Main Branch. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in coordinating of activities related to occupancy, construction, relocation, and renovation of buildings, offices and facilities. Aid in preparation of cost estimates. Negotiate transactions with landlords, developers and contractors within assigned authority. Discuss with tenants any desired remodeling or new construction. Control expenditures and approve payments for goods and services within authority; make recommendations to higher management on matters exceeding that authority. Collect rent and utilities from tenants for rental property and maintain appropriate records. Recommend site selection for new construction and purchase or lease of property. Meet with department heads to discuss matters concerning space, workflow, relocation, alteration, or remodeling in area of responsibility. Assist in preparing budget for regional cost center and assists other cost centers in budget preparation as it relates to facilities and purchasing. Ensure the proper upkeep and maintenance of all company premises. Provide for complete and adequate janitorial services as directed. Investigate and recommend purchase of equipment. Arrange for all tours and inspections of a technical nature, such as professional groups or fire and insurance inspections. Maintain up-to-date knowledge pertaining to the management and maintenance of property. Determine if staff personnel can accomplish extensive or unusual maintenance situations or if hiring outside contractors is required. Arrange for outside contractors as necessary. Oversee and maintain records of contractor work. Perform all work with adherence to safety procedures. Aid with the maintenance and housekeeping functions. Aid in the maintenance of company vehicles in specific region. Aid in signage selection, vendor, location, etc. Ensures all actions performed are in compliance
