Electricista Industrial LVL 3. en East Los Angeles

Montebello, CA Job Type: Full-Time | Shift: 1st Shift (7am-3:30p). $30/Hour

Position Summary: The Level 3 Industrial Electrician is a senior-level role responsible for advanced troubleshooting, system improvements, and leading electrical work within the machine shop. This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting overall production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

· Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues on manual machines and facility equipment

· Lead troubleshooting efforts for recurring or critical equipment failures

· Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems, wiring, and control panels

· Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs and VFDs

· Lead machine installations, retrofits, and major repairs

· Identify root causes of failures and implement long-term corrective solutions

· Mentor and support Level 2 electricians and maintenance staff

· Work cross-functionally with production and quality teams to improve processes

· Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards

· Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, upgrades, and system changes

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical training preferred

· 5–8+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience

· Strong knowledge of 3-phase systems (120V–480V)

· Advanced ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams

· Hands-on experience with PLC programming/troubleshooting and VFDs

· Proven ability to lead complex troubleshooting and projects

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

· Industrial machine shop environment (noise, dust, moving machinery)

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

· Ability to stand, bend, and work in confined spaces

· Overtime and flexible hours may be required, including early start times
