Beverly's Birthdays is seeking a qualified employee to work within and contribute to our Development team. The position will be full-time. Location: Beverly's Birthdays Headquarters. This is an on-site position. Occasional evening and weekend commitments for events. Business hours are Monday-Friday (8:30-4:30 p.m.) Salary: $35,000-$38,000 The position spans a range of responsibilities in the Development department including managing and cultivating relationships with donors, maintaining donor records, contributing to social media content creation/planning, event planning, and coordinating with volunteers. This position will be focused on assisting the Director of Development with donor stewardship. College or Graduate students with emphasis in: Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, English, Public Relations, and/or Public and/or Non-profit Administration are encouraged to apply. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Director of Development in researching and sharing best practices for fundraising events and campaigns Assist in general donor stewardship Assist in grant application process Communicate with current and prospective donors Help maintain and update donor databases Assist Development staff in organizing day-to-day communications with individual and company donors Assist Development staff in drafting fundraising emails Assist Development staff in event planning and coordination Research projects, prospects, and initiatives for the Development team Draft profiles of prospective donors for Development team Assist Director of Development and Executive Director with social media content creation and planning Perform general administrative duties to assist Beverly's Birthdays Development staff, to include general filing and data entry Other duties as assign to support the Development and Programming team Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong communication skills (written and verbal) High energy and ability to multi-task Experience with Canva or similar design program Familiar with WordPress or website editing software Strong research skills Strong organizational skills Experience working with databases a plus, with eTapestry or similar CRM experience preferred Proficient in
