The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC. Program Description: Offers a wide array of support groups and classes, including divorce recovery, career re-entry counseling, self-defense and awareness. Pre-employment assistance for re-entry women. Target populations:females. Agency Hours:Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 9:00pm, Friday, 7:00am - 8:00pm, Saturday, 8:00am - 3:00pm. Languages:spanish program name: parenting plus (court approved). Program Description: A six-week course designed to enhance and improve parenting skills. Communication skills taught through assertive, non-aggressive techniques. This course places heavy emphasis on parental responsibility and accountability. It offers practical advice and proven strategies for disciplining children in the context of teaching them to become productive and moral people that the world will find lovable. Participants must attend all six classes to receive a certificate. Target populations:parents, court ordered individuals.
