The Planned & Major Giving Specialist works in coordination with the Corporate Director of Planned and Major Giving (PMG) and Senior Director of Planned and Major Giving to ensure success of the planned and major giving program. This individual's primary responsibilities are to facilitate all aspects of the PMG program while providing support to the Director of Planned Giving and other Planned Giving Officers. This position is also responsible for facilitating the planned giving marketing program. The position is a hybrid role based in the Tampa Bay area with the occasional need to work onsite at Headquarters. The ideal candidate will have the following: 2 years of planned and major giving experience in addition to familiarity with planned gift registration requirements. Current Bachelor's Degree required. Training, certification or experience in the following areas are needed: gift annuities, pooled income funds, charitable remainder trusts, life insurance, charitable lead trusts, bequests and other estate gifts required. We are looking for a person dedicated to quality work, providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, high productivity. Organizational, prioritization and multitasking skills are critical for this role, as is the ability to handle confidential, sensitive information with discretion.
