Model Preperation Technician

We are hiring for a Model Preparation Technician in the city of Ontario.

Monday-Friday, Morning shift

Pay starts at $20 but can go up to $23 depending on experience.

Qualifications are as stated below:

A person that is detail-oriented, comfortable working with 3D software, and able to balance technical accuracy with customer expectations. This position requires a strong eye for detail, basic 3D modeling/editing skills, and the ability to follow a structured workflow from customer upload through final print-ready file preparation.

Responsibilities include:

• Customer Photo Review and AI Model Generation

• 3D Model Cleanup and Editing

• Customer Approval Workflow

• Print Preparation

• Slicer and Build Layout

• File Management and Documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications: · Experience with Blender or similar 3D modeling software. · Basic understanding of 3D model cleanup, mesh repair, and file preparation. · Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual and technical model issues. · Comfortable working with customer-submitted photos and matching models to reference images. · Ability to learn and operate AI/API-based 3D model generation tools. · Ability to follow a structured production workflow. · Good file organization skills. · Clear written communication for internal notes and customer revision tracking. · Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
