Produce Clerk

Job description: Job Overview We are seeking reliable Produce Clerks to support daily operations in a cold storage environment. This role involves handling produce, maintaining accurate inventory records, and assisting with packing, sorting, and loading/unloading products. Requirements Must be able to work in a cold environment (refrigerated/freezer areas) Must have steel-toe, non-slip boots Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must have experience and/or demonstrated ability to operate a stand-up forklift (Certification not required) Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Duties Inventory control: help track product quantities, assist with stocking/inventory counts, and maintain organized storage areas Produce packing and sorting: sort produce, pack orders, and ensure product quality and freshness standards Loading and unloading: assist with receiving shipments and distributing product to correct areas Order Pulling: locate and retrieve product from warehouse storage and accurately fulfill orders in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in cold storage and work areas Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including proper PPE and safe lifting practices Experience Previous warehouse experience or retail grocery store background preferred Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners is highly desirable Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus; certification preferred but not required Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are an advantage for serving diverse customers Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout shifts Knowledge of produce handling, stocking procedures, and merchandising best practices Send your resume apply in person at 2450 S Atlantic Blvd 100, Commerce 90040.
