IMSolutions Seeks Experienced Federal Acquisition Professional to Lead Training the Next Generation of Acquisition Professionals at the Department of the Interior (DOI)! This DOI Acquisition Excellence Leader is the senior subject matter expert responsible for the content and success of the IMS ACQPASS Training Program. Responsibilities to include: Reviewing, developing, and assessing the ACQPASS acquisition curriculum to ensure appropriate rigor, working closely with instructional designer. Teaching and supervising those teaching the ACQPASS classes. Creating a trusted environment where teachers and cohort members can share their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests. Co-supervising the ACQPASS Career Coach and Trainer and the DOI ACQPASS Program Manager along with the head of Human Resources, who provides support for the cohort learning. Maintaining relationships with the client, vendors, and other important players. Managing budget and expense requests. Serving as the Federal Government Acquisition expert (Series 1102) and resource to IMS team members working at DOI . Mentoring the DOI Professional Learning Group Leaders who supervise the cohort members. Providing ideas and feedback to help improve the overall IMS ACQPASS Training Program companywide. Education and experience: A Master's degree in relevant study area (contracting, law, public policy, business, etc.) is required. A Bachelor's degree plus significant experience may substitute for a degree. At least 20 years of current experience in Federal contracting to include cradle to grave contract management for products and services.
