Overview As the Director of Project Engineering at Sun Tribe, you will oversee a team of high performing engineers responsible for design of Solar Photovoltaic projects including site planning, performance modeling and civil/electrical/structural design. You will work closely with external engineering partners to develop lasting relationships, as well as internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to maximize team performance. You Have a customer-centric mindset with an engineering background - able to assess risk and opportunity, perform cost-benefit analyses, and optimize both technical and economic outcomes Have a joyful approach to work and life, a sense of humor highly recommended Can learn quickly and embrace new and creative ways to solve problems Have integrity, tenacity, and credibility complimented by a bias for action and a strong sense of personal accountability Are high energy and responds well to pressure, works to deadlines Can communicate professionally and proactively to both internal and external stakeholders Can interpret and articulate technical designs to drive project and campaign decisions Are interested to put on various hats as needed to collaborate in areas outside of core expertise like project origination and business strategy Are a detailed thinker whose attention to detail sets the tone for all st
