The Social Media Specialist will manage the university's primary social media platforms and will report to the senior director of digital marketing. This successful candidate will develop and distribute content with a focus on engagement, research and implement social strategies including new platform and trends, and perform social listening. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: • Plan, develop and manage content for Longwood's top-tier social media accounts and maintain a social media/editorial calendar. Collaborate with other members of the MCE team to create strategic content • Collaborate with and assist other key departments with their social media strategies, including Admissions, Alumni Relations, and others as appropriate. Oversee the social media managers group and support its members. • Incorporate strategies to weave admissions-related messaging into social posts and include admissions-related audiences in social listening strategies. • Monitor social media for mentions and other opportunities for engagement, and engage ap
