Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a director of learning services to work collaboratively with faculty and staff to provide administrative oversight of and assist with the effective design, development and delivery of face-to-face, online and hybrid courses to ensure compliance, adherence to best practices, and utilization of appropriate technologies to enhance student learning. Duties include overseeing all facets of course scheduling; collaborating with department heads, deans and the vice president to compile, audit and create semester schedules; reviewing and evaluating course scheduling data to facilitate continuous improvement; overseeing the distance learning department; ensuring compliance with all related distance education standards; serving as institutional contact for NCSARA; managing Curriculog, Acalog and other electronic systems, including user training and assistance, documentation, and system maintenance and updates; and reviewing and obtaining approval for all curriculum change proposals and working with the registrar to ensure changes are accurately incorporated into the student system and online catalog. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in instructional technology, instructional design, education or other relevant field and five years of related work experience, including two years of supervisory and online educational delivery systems experience.
