JOB SUMMARY The Carroll Community College Wellbeing Coordinator (also referred to as TMA AmeriCorps VISTA or VISTA) will collaborate across campus and with the Carroll County Public schools to create a culture of wellbeing and proactive approaches to help Pell eligible and rst-generation students succeed at college. Using a trauma informed and wellbeing framework the TMA AmeriCorps VISTA will help to create a culture of wellbeing on campus and partner with Pell grant eligible and rst-generation students to understand their needs and how CCC can work with them to support their journey from high school through college. This will include qualitative and quantitative assessment, wellbeing programming, centralizing information and a campus wide newsletter. This position reports to the Director, Student Care and Integrity. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Work to be an integral part of creating a culture of wellbeing on campus Assess the wellbeing of students on campus Coordinate programming efforts across multiple groups Centralize wellbeing resources Create a wellbeing calendar and newsletter Focus on PELL grant and rst-generation students to assist with resources and education around wellbeing practices and programs Create partnership with Carroll County Public Schools to identify students' wellbeing needs to start healthy habits in high school that can be supported once they attend college Must be positive, cooperative and supportive Performs other duties as assigned.
