The department of radiology at Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a board-certified radiologist to assume the role of Vice Chair of Quality and Safety. This faculty member will direct radiology performance improvement and quality assurance across the Johns Hopkins Health System, which includes 6 hospitals and a large community practice. In collaboration with quality and safety vice chairs in medicine and surgery, the radiology vice chair designs and disseminates innovations that improve clinical effectiveness, patient outcomes and health care affordability, resourced by the expertise of the Johns Hopkins Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality and a robust informatics infrastructure. Academic radiologists with experience as quality improvement champions and subspecialty training in cardiothoracic/chest imaging, body imaging or pediatric radiology are invited to apply.
