Job Summary The actuarial analyst position is responsible for various level of analysis related to our clients' projects and insurance programs. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who possesses strong communication and organizational skills. This role also required strong technical skills to combine with creative problem-solving skills to assist clients in a consultative manner. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare analytical analysis for client decision making processes including loss projections, claims analysis, collateral projections, financial impacts analysis, and program comparison Participate in client and prospect meetings and lead when necessary Execute and present Catastrophe Modeling analysis Understand complex financial analysis and claims data Assist in data analysis to determine optimal program structure options Create client presentation including spreadsheets, charts, and interactive dashboards to tell stories to aid decisions and negotiations Maintain analytical models, as well as update factors as appropriate Educate colleagues on analytical findings as well as effective use of analytics Ad-Hoc analytic requests as needed Other duties as assigned Bachelor's Degree required (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Analytics); substantial work experience may be considered in lieu of degree 2-5 years of relevant work experience desired but not required Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 1-2 actuarial exams preferred Strong multitasking & time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office products; (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI) Knowledge of R, SQL, Python preferred Professional in appearance and business conduct with strong customer service recblid kltrktbqm2u8wlx80p6ivet5zqsvlg Qualifications: BA/BS/Undergraduate
