Colorado Public Radio (CPR) is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner. About the Position: The Senior HR Business Partner supports the vision of our People and Culture team through performing a variety of human resources functions related to organizational strategy, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives, employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, leave administration, change management, employee engagement, total rewards, dispute resolution, and recruitment support. On a daily basis, this position provides advice, counsel and guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees on human resources matters and processes to ensure compliance with rules, policies and procedures. The new hire is expected to reside in Colorado upon starting - this is not a remote position. About You: Our ideal candidate will have the following qualities: You have excellent organizational and prioritization skills, particularly with managing competing and changing priorities. You can execute HR strategies, initiatives and practices that help to support organizational change and promote engagement. You're a strong written and verbal communicator with a talent for presenting complex information in a digestible way. You're able to work independently when needed and manage large projects and initiatives from beginning to end. You have a proven track record of collaborating with employees at all levels of an organization. You're able to coach, counsel and influence others while delivering decisions. You have both experience and a passion for supporting an organization committed to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. You're resilient, emotionally intelligent, curious and courageous. Minimum Qualifications: At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in human resources, including: Knowledge and application of state and federal employment laws, regulations, principles and practices. Advanced knowledge and experience of human resources functions such as talent acquisition, compensation and classification, learning and development, benefits, workforce metrics and planning Experience with collaborating with partners in the different disciplines of human resources to recommend and inform busine
