Commercial Loan Assistant POSITION SUMMARY: The Commercial Loan Assistant provides administrative support to Windsor Federal's Commercial Lending Team. Under limited supervision, in accordance with established policies and procedures, will perform a variety of administrative duties. Primary roles are to assist commercial lending officers to gather information, input data to the commercial management system, perform loan research as needed, and balance daily tasks with exceptional customer care. The Commercial Loan Assistant will generally work with 1 or 2 lenders who have a combined portfolio of less than 300 loans and/or $80MM average outstanding balances; portfolio generally consists of less complex loans with balances under $2MM. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Serves as primary administrative assistant for loan officers, which includes but is not limited to, answering incoming telephone calls, resolving customer inquiries within prescribed authority, scheduling appointments, composing written correspondence and memos, and providing administrative assistance. Assists lending officers in the preparation of credit submission paperwork, document upload to CMS, pre-funding worksheets, loan documentation checklists and any other communications necessary to properly submit a loan package. Prepares and maintains data related to loan-related reports as applicable. Creates/starts collateral and credit files. Maintains and files loan application documents for commercial loan officers. Assists in preparation of construction loan requisition packages. Anticipates needs and, with general instructions, outlines assignments, conducts research, and proposes solutions for projects or special projects. Maintains positive employee and customer relations at all times. Provides exceptional customer care (both internal and external) in a manner that satisfies individual needs of each customer and deepens the work relationship with Windsor Federal. Maintains confidentiality of all customer and employee information. Ability to multi-task and demonstrate attention to detail while producing accurate, high quality work. Good written and verbal communication skills. Basic math skills. Fully utilizes systems, tools, training and resources provided to maximize potential
