Position: Material Handler

Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and finished products throughout the facility. This position supports both warehouse and production operations while following company safety, quality, and food-safety procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Receive, unload, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and ingredients.
Move raw materials, seasonings, packaging, and finished products throughout the warehouse and production areas.
Operate stand-up forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
Load and unload trucks while verifying quantities and product information.
Supply production lines with the correct materials according to production requirements.
Stage materials and finished products for production or shipment.
Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
Use scanners, labels, and/or warehouse documentation to track materials.
Follow FIFO/FEFO procedures as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
Follow GMP, food safety, PPE, and workplace safety requirements.
Inspect pallets, containers, and materials for damage or contamination and report issues immediately.
Properly label and identify materials to prevent product mix-ups.
Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements
Previous material handling or warehouse experience preferred.
Stand-up forklift experience required if the position will operate stand-up equipment.
Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move materials throughout the facility.
Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Basic ability to read labels, work orders, and inventory information.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and food quality.
Must be dependable and maintain good attendance.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is safety-conscious, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working around food production and warehouse operations. Experience handling ingredients, raw materials, pallets, packaging materials, and operating forklifts in a food manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

Experience:
Materials handling: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:
Forklift Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:
Corona, CA 92880 (Required)
