PM CASHIER / GUEST SERVICE – FAST PACED RESTAURANT (SANTA MONICA)

Benny’s Tacos is hiring experienced PM Cashiers / Guest Service team members for our high-volume fast casual Mexican restaurant in Santa Monica.
We are looking for reliable people with restaurant experience who can move with urgency, support guests during rushes, and maintain professionalism throughout the shift.
This is NOT a slow-paced cashier position.
REQUIRED SCHEDULE:
Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
3:30 PM – 10:00 PM
OR
4:00 PM – 10:30 PM

PAY & BENEFITS:
$18-$20/hr starting (based on experience)
Tips on top of hourly pay ($2-$3/hr average)
1 free meal per shift

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet guests professionally
Take orders accurately
Handle cash and card transactions
Serve food to guests
Support dining room during rushes
Portion chips and salsa
Clean and reset stations
Restock front counter supplies
Sweep, mop, wipe tables, and maintain cleanliness
Work with urgency during busy periods
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous cashier/restaurant experience REQUIRED
Fast-paced restaurant experience preferred
Toast POS experience is a plus
Friendly and professional attitude
Must not be shy interacting with guests
Reliable and punctual
Team player
Food Handler Card required
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Plain black uniform required
