The Sandra Rosenbaum School of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for a tenure track position at the assistant rank beginning August 2023. Duties include establishing an excellent, forward-looking research program, strong teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate level, and service to the School of Social Work, the university, and the profession. The normal teaching load in the School of Social Work is four courses per year at the undergraduate and/or graduate level (two courses per semester). Strong value is placed on the potential for developing a record of responsive, effective teaching and service. Social work practice experience is preferred but not required. Candidate must demonstrate the capacity to conduct an innovative program of research important to social work and responsive, effective teaching and service to the school, university and profession.
