Job description:
Pick up, deliver, and scan lightweight e-commerce packages to customers using a mobile app and their own vehicles, working on a flexible schedule with a per-delivery pay structure. Their responsibilities include optimizing delivery routes, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs, problem-solving issues like traffic or incorrect addresses, and maintaining customer service standard.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Package Handling: Drivers scan packages at pickup, deliver them to their assigned destinations, and may assist with loading and unloading.
Route Management: The driver app provides optimized routes and real-time updates for efficient delivery.
Customer Service: Drivers provide good customer service, answer questions, and can handle complaints.
Problem-Solving: Drivers need to address challenges such as traffic delays, difficult-to-find addresses, or missing information, and may need to make follow-up deliveries or return parcels to the warehouse.
Proof of Delivery: Drivers are responsible for providing proof of delivery after drop-offs.
Work & Scheduling
Flexible Hours: Drivers can work flexible hours and are their own bosses, setting their own schedules.
Vehicle Requirement: Drivers use their own vehicles for deliveries.
Pay: Drivers are paid on a per-delivery basis with no earnings cap, according to UniUni.
