This evolving position is located in the Clinical Services Division with the Oklahoma City-County Health Department (OCCHD). The Mobile Clinic Team Client Access Specialist may work at various satellite clinics that may be established within the Oklahoma City/County area. The employee is primarily responsible for supporting mobile clinic operations through preparing and tracking supplies; preparing and tracking vaccine; preparing client forms and records; entering client information into OSIIS; and preparing, retrieving, maintaining, and filing medical records on clients. Also, the employee may be assigned to assist with scheduling of clients or greeting clients and visitors through the reception area of mobile clinic units. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a summary of the duties and responsibilities commonly found within this classification. All employees must maintain a commitment to the OCCHD's mission, vision and strategic goals. This summary is not meant to be all-inclusive, thus, other related activities or tasks may be assigned. This position functions at the entry level (Tier 1) as defined by the Council on Linkages Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals. An emphasis on the following domains is important in this role: Data Analytics and Assessment Skills Communication Skills Health Equity Skills Community Partnership Skills Public Health Sciences Skills ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Supports the Mobile Clinic public health nurses with vaccine storage, handling, and inventory management. Maintains documentation on vaccine storage and handling as needed. Maintains vaccine ancillary supply inventory and notifies Immunization Coordinator of needs. Prepares and packs vaccine ancillary supplies in advance of deployment or delivery. Maintains event supply inventory and notifies Mobile Clinic Supervisor of needs. Ensures documents and forms deployed with mobile clinics are current. Prepares and prints forms as needed in advance of mobile clinic deployment. Prepares client charts and records for mobile clinics as needed. Numbers, labels, sorts, opens, closes, and updates client medical records. Ensure accurate documentation of shot records in OSIIS. Receives, screens, and directs incoming telephone calls. Com
