Hours are flexible: some start at 5 AM, others later.

Rate of pay: Hourly, starting at $25 and up, depending on experience and skill set

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and meticulous Custom Millwork Restaurant Drafting Employee to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom millwork drafting, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating unique and functional restaurant spaces.

Key Responsibilities

 Develop Detailed Drawings: Create detailed 2D technical drawings for custom millwork components used in restaurant interiors, including cabinetry, fixtures, and furniture.

 Collaborate on Design Concepts: Work closely with project managers to understand design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.

 Ensure Accuracy: Ensure all drawings are accurate, detailed, and compliant with industry standards and client specifications.

 Revise and Update Plans: Modify and update existing drawings as needed based on project changes and client feedback.

 Coordinate with Fabricators: Work with millwork fabricators to ensure that drawings are clear, complete, and can be accurately interpreted for manufacturing.

 Project Documentation: Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project-related documentation.

 Quality Control: Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements before submission.

 Site Visits: Occasionally visit project sites to take measurements, verify dimensions, and ensure alignment with design plans.

Qualifications

 Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in drafting, with a focus on custom millwork for restaurant or hospitality projects.

 Technical Skills: o Proficiency in AutoCAD software is highly desirable. o Some understanding of woodworking techniques and millwork construction.

 Other Skills:
