Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
As a Batch Maker, you will manufacture products according to established procedures while following all health and safety guidelines. This position requires working in a fast-paced, physically active environment. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, a “get-the-job-done” attitude, and be available for overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.

Batch Making / Blending
✅ Transfer bulk chemicals, liquid solids, and powders from pails, bags, or drums
✅ Accurately measure and calculate chemical additions
✅ Monitor batches during processing to ensure specifications are met
✅ Make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality
✅ Clean and rinse mixers and tanks after production
✅ Complete and maintain required paperwork and production records
✅ Follow all safety rules, department procedures, and housekeeping standards
✅ Maintain strict attention to detail (procedures, documentation, equipment use, chemical handling and storage)
✅ Ensure equipment and workstations are safe and in good working order
✅ Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all time
Packaging
✅ Fill pails, drums, or totes accurately
✅ Weigh finished products to ensure proper quantities
✅ Apply correct labeling to all packaging
✅ Submit completed documentation to the appropriate department
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications
✅ Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment required
✅ 2+ years of chemical blending experience preferred
✅ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✅ Ability to read and understand batch cards and specifications
✅ Ability to solve practical problems
✅ Team player with strong work ethic
✅ Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs
✅ Minimum 2 years of forklift experience (certification is a plus)
